Ruthless Positivity & Three Game-Changing Questions for 2021

I’m too busy working on my own grass to see if yours is greener.” – Unknown

We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.― Viktor E. So far I haven’t heard anyone tell me that 2020 has been the best year yet.

Yes many of our clients in the healthcare, electric, gas & sanitary services, and retail food industry are having record breaking years.

Many others have been pivoting and wisely investing in new forms of digital marketing and reinventing product and service offerings.

But change is stressful – especially when you throw on top of COVID the powder keg of the political situation we’re going through.

It’s times like these we have to be like a racehorse and keep our blinkers on.  Don’t look left, don’t look right – just keep your eyes on your goals.

Fortunately massive change also brings with it massive opportunity.

Here are the three strategic questions to consider as you move into 2021 so that you can “choose your own way” as that wonderful quote above says:

1)    How is this new economy affecting the mindset and purchasing habits of your target market?

2)    What are three new ways you can identify to bring more value to them and make their lives happier/easier/less stressful/more successful?

3)    What are the three top things that are standing in your organization’s way right now, preventing you from reaching your goals? Your answer to this question is most important. Whatever these three problems are to conquer – that’s now your top priority to remedy.

PRO TIP:  if any of the top three obstacles can be outsourced – then you don’t have a problem!
